In this performance audience was moved by a very strong, even unpleasant emotions, overlived instead of two white beings on the stage. Description
Multimedia, controversial, nonverbal performance - interactive journey through sound, movement, voice, poetry. Audience is attracted to take part in improvised magic theatre ritual performance – Meditation – Emptiness – Nothingness. Where repetition of information is an aggression. Impressed by Butoh dance philosophical ideas of Erased, Universal body. When it goes out of boundaries, emerges it’s essence of human being.

Project is based on my explorations of Butoh. White, naked body dancing in different areas  and places (graveyard, mud, stage; dance with cock, rabbit, naked bodies etc.)  tells lot of stories and searches for human’s origins – archetypes. As I was strongly impressed by Butoh, I found artists who can collaborate with my idea – to make “non-theatrical”, multimedia piece with baroque and noise music. The structure of the performance is based on S. Orinska’s and S. Jančaite’s poetry, translated by Japanese language’s professor Kaishiro Kanno.

The main idea – two opposite levels of thinking are juxtapose: open, fragile flow what never repeats and aggressive informational attack what represents repetitiveness. Naked, not protected body as a flower of lily against screen’s violence of repetition improvised by live noise music. As Butoh was like a protest against Americanization, we find some traits in our performance as a protest against nowadays consumer’s world, globalization, TV violence. As Butoh dance was finding roots of Japanese culture we are finding real rules of the stage.

It is very wild open sight to human being. Human’s life is happening between two secrets – Conception and Death in both he is not taking part. Creating of new consciousness and time of death is happening in non-consciousness way, not depending of human’s desires. Human’s thoughts relate to his origins are mixed with the trial of conception, where physical and spiritual body is connecting. Sexuality is not possible to define "here and now", because it is relates towards ancient past. In ancient believes the Earth is like a melting point of Life and Death.

Multidisciplinary Project of Nonverbal Theatre Methods  „INSIDE” / 2006

Description
I stage
In duration of 4 months participants took the masterclass of Modris Tenisons- theatre director, artist, teacher, founder of professional pantomime theatre in Lithuania (main theme: actors psychophysics- awareness development of the personality, body release and the base of actors concentration)

II stage
In duration of 2 months taking part in masterclass of theatre director Victor Yanson, the lecturer in Moscow B. Schukin’s Theatre Academy (main themes: dramatics, improvisation, acting with the properties, acrobatics, actors cohesion on the stage)

One week living on uninhabited island, still having Victor Yanson’s masterclass, creating and showing the performance there “INSIDE Daba” (INSIDE Nature)

Afterwards, coming back into the hullabaloo of the city and analyzing its processes and value differences from the direction of nature, made the performance “Suitcases are Flying” that took its place in Riga Central Railway Station’s square in street performance style

Project explores influence made by the nature and the city towards human's perception, sensations and body. The content of eternal questions, which every doctrine translate in a language appropriate them, human can perceive only in the nature. To arrive in the city, human put on the mask, hide and forget the mystery of his being. Is there a special value for the bare life settling in the city? There are movements in feelings, minds, bodies and bright game of associations made by video.

III stage
DVD “Inside” and a special booklet under guidance of S. Orinska were produced where observations, conclusions made during the project are collected in video and textual forms.

Performance “THE NATURE”. Human – Nature
Fir-tree as my sister. Firefly’s totem. To feel magic power of the Fire, Earth and Water elements in the self-made dyne’s clothes. To strick a snag in a sole of the foot. To give the oath of the silence.
The masterclass during a week in the region Cesis, district Dzerbene, on the lake Juveri’s Island was finished with a performance “THE NATURE”. Actors gave the oath of the silence, made clothes from the dyne material. There were acrobatics, conception of “atmosphere”, “psychological gesture”, sound, voice, rhythm and body work.  Besides the classes there were made performance “THE NATURE”, where split together images and relationships of the human, animal and the earth. Ancient folk songs, rhythms made from the wood’s instruments, dances and cruel fights of the nature were finished in a blessed rite of the water. For the bravest spectators there was possibility to swim instead of giving entrance ticket.

Performance “SUITCASES ARE FLYING!” Human – Civilization
Is it often when you see yourself to cage in a flat measured of suitcase in dreams? Is it often you have a desire to fly in a public space? Is it seemed sometimes if trees are your brothers?
The square of Riga Central Train station were occupied by ten black creatures in sunglasses, army’s boots, bright stockings, with white faces and suitcases. There were played the city’s rattling noisy symphony, the matter of Life and Death by saxophone, accordion, guitar, percussions and flying angel with flute.

Video performance “URBAN NATURE”. Human – Nature- Civilization
Terrorism of the civilization as commerce or wars? Suitcase’s dogs, city’s angel, saxophone, percussions, accordion, guitar and plastic costumes are flying along roofs, squares and garbage cars.

The First Nonverbal Theatre Pilotfestival / 2006

Description
There is specific history of nonverbal (movement, physical) theatre in Latvia. "Laboratory of Stage Arts" wanted to organize festival, which brings together the best movement theatres in Latvia. It was also first presentation of DVD “Inside” which focuses on nonverbal theatre techniques. There was also guest from Armenia – choreographer  Tsolak Mlke-Galstyan with mono performance "I Am" (theatre "MIHR", Yerevan).

TEC-1 / 2005

Description
"TEC-1" - multimedia project (videodance performance) - searches of the synthesis and collaboration on artistic, documental and social levels. Today Andrejsala is searching for the balance in the liminality. In the crossroads. For now it is like a temple of the industrial age. Nevertheless, while there are continuing battles of the shadows, while there are building visions about the contemporary art' s temple, Andrejsala is rapidly changing its image. In the last century's nineties modernisation of the Andrejsala thermal central TEC-1 with the help of Swedish International agency was developed. The central has not been working for already two years. It is planned to establish a museum of the Contemporary art. We are the witnesses of these historical changes.

" Here is all of our history... There were not the modernisation, automatisation, that' s why besides every appliance, every valve, every agregate there was a person of duty. All of these people - part of them is in the afterworld for now - they still are very clearly in my mind..."

“Coming to TEC-1 I was overwhelmed by this spectacular place. Seeing it, listening to the workers and reviewing the personal movement material of the dancers the topic was clear to me straight away: energy, locked in energy that wants to break out. I enjoyed taking the challenge together with Janis Redlihs to combine documentary and artistic video-work as well as life dance and was very pleased to see the different layers together - sometimes matching, sometimes even reinforcing each other.
 It was important to me that the dance was not only an illustration of what the workers in the interviews said, but adding something more to it. In the scene with the shadows in the cellar I couldn't help commenting something I felt was part of the political decision making - may be in TEC-1, but also on a more global level: the powerful against the powerless.

I appreciate having had the opportunity to get to know this place in such an important time of transition: somewhere between the nostalgic past and the awakening for the future - NOW. Somehow TEC-1 became also a piece about becoming, growing and vanishing. I loved the collaboration with and of the dancers, often I was very touched to see the intensity of their individual expression, but at the same time their readiness to and fitting into the group.”

e-faces in motion / 2004

Description
e-faces in motion – 4 events of arts improvisation (dance, movement, poetry, painting, object art, video, performance, sounds, voice) through year 2004. This project was one of the first in multi-disciplinary field in Latvia. Participants before the performance have got to know just ideas of others, but real life and performance – it was live improvisation on the stage. Audience was like participants of this research process and witnesses of the moment of artist’s flaying or falling.

Is there ice on the Mars? Perhaps there is a reflection of e-face? E-faces in motion – e-mail, e-lectronic, i-net caffe, essay, face… Can you ever felt how your lips are singing, how your eyebrows are dancing?

The Warmth of Hexagon. From Bee’s Life / 2007 
There were beautiful voices, taste of honey, body movements, rain of yellow pollen in the river and mouth, drawings with precious bees in the afternoon.  There were cells of wax in the form of hexagon, like the cells of femininity. 

Letter of artist Miriam:
„I would like to explain some very special things, which regards to my experience with bee’s warmth I felt once sitting down the tree.  The warmth above my head was like a cover of Sound and Warm. It was dance by different elements – composition of Warm, Sound, Movement and Colours. Bees are like alchemists. It is very high developed organization where the main roles are for Bee - Mother and Bees – Workers. When I worked with this theme I felt bees started to transform into women’s images. It raised questions about my femininity which I explore in many intimate works.”

Awakening / June 2009
Opening performance of the creative season “Stone. Movement”, dedicated to Israel culture.

How it is ancient belief in Jew’s legend there are special stone in the top of the temple mountain. It is called  - Stone of the Core. It was made from the Earth and everything what lives is made from that. God made Adam from the Stone’s dust. Abraham wanted to sacriface his son on this Stone. Jacob used this Stone as a pillow and dreamed about angels who leviate in the sky. For keeping everything alive it is needed to take out the Stone from the Earth and after – to put it in the top of the temple mountain.

There are really proof evidences if the Stone also is in the Earth of Pedvale. Only when four energies are unite, it will be possible to take off the Stone from the Earth and to put it on the God Chair in Pedvale. Only then all living beings can keep alive.

They will came through weeps, laugh, born and sacrifaces. They will come through bloodline chanting one prayer.

Pedvale’s Tree of Stone / October 2007
Closing performance of the creative season “Stone. Landscape”.

There is a story if once per thousand years the heart of hill opens in Pedvale. Than the beautiful young lady – the soul of the hill came out. She plants the Seeds of Stone. There are Mothers of Stone which protect all Seeds of Stone, they can also give power for opening the hill. If somebody gives attention and love to the planted seed than the Tree of Stone will burst into blossom. If nobody sees the Tree of Stone than it transforms into bones of stones. Blooming Tree of Stone just for a moment will alive into sounds, voices, colours and movements. There is a rainbow’s bridge of wealth, richness and joy which gives its favours to Pedvale. After that Mothers put the Tree of Stone for winter’s sleep. In the springtime they will awake it again.

Metaphorical movement improvisation – oppositional play of the Nature and the Art. The crash and opposition of Natural and Artificial elements. There are cocoons inwrought on all branches. Than comes the new one which comes into the world and loses its navel-string as a connection to the Nature. It starts to go blindly for a metaphor of beauty – Creature of Roses – the super-face of show-windows. The human in searching of the lost Paradise.
